SLIME TIME Harvest Fest

It's that time of year again! Can you feel it in the air? HARVEST FEST!

Join us for a different spin on things this year as we continue the excitement of this summer's Power Lab.

SLIME TIME's slimy details:

• Saturday, October 25, 4-6 pm at Christ Community Church


• Games, prizes, crafts, music and more--all with a fun, slimy theme!


• Games are geared for children preschool and up.


• As always, this is a free event and costumes are welcome!


• Bring your friends!

The kids will also be singing in the main service the very next day, Sunday October 26th at 10:00am, so you won't want to miss it!

August for Preschoolers

This month our preschoolers are focusing on the basic truth that God loves them. Our memory verse found in Joshua 1:9, "God is with you wherever you go."

Don't forget to look at the Small Talks that come home with your child each week. They're a great opportunity for your child to share with you what he or she learns each week, and often include ideas to further your conversations at home!

August in AllSTARS

Honor is our virtue on Sunday mornings this month. What's "honor?" "Letting someone know you see how valuable they really are." Don't we all need to ask God to help us grow this virtue in our lives?!

Our memory verse is found in Romans 12:10, "Love each other deeply. Honor others more than yourselves."

We have a great chance to honor a valuable part of our community that is often overlooked--our senior citizens! Join us Friday, August 8th at 11:00 am to help serve lunch to the Eagle County Seniors. We'll be meeting at Crown Mountain Park for a great time of serving together, eating together, and having some fun together!

Then on Friday, August 15th at 5:30 we'll have a Kids' Movie Night at the church for preschool and up. Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided!

Power Lab 2008

Thank you to everyone who helped make Power Lab a BLAST! God blessed us with a great week--full of fun, mess, and learning more about God's love for each of us!

We spent 4 days learning about Jesus' amazing power--

On Day 1 we learned that Jesus gives us the power to BE THANKFUL!

On Day 2 we learned that Jesus gives us the power to HELP OTHERS!

On Day 3 we learned that Jesus gives us the power to BE BRAVE!

On Day 4 we learned that Jesus gives us the power to LIVE FOREVER!

This Sunday, July 27, join us at 10:00 as we learn that Jesus gives us the power to TELL OTHERS ABOUT JESUS! We'll be having VBS downstairs in Children's Ministry AND the kids will be sharing a VBS song upstairs in the main service.

THEN at 5:00 pm, join us for a free barbecue! VBS takes the stage from 5-5:30 pm, then we'll have live music by our own worship band.
